Kick into action dear citizens!
Yesterday’s “one of its kind” order gives us citizens the chance to really pull up the responsible people for proper garbage management.
Ward Committees are directly responsible for the state of affairs in their wards, and citizens can approach the court if they do not do their job.
Let’s make use of it, and spread the word amongst your networks and put these Corporators and their WC to task.
Step 1) monitor your surroundings in your ward
Step 2) take pictures of random garbage heaps, garbage filled drains etc, and address this to your ward committee, the details are on the BBMP website.
Step 3) give reasonable time for them to react, if they don’t fill your documentation to the High Court at the attention of Justice N Kumar and Justice BV Nagarathna.
Let’s clean up Bangalore !
